About the Artist
Lorenzo Mercanti describes himself as visual explorer. He lives in Milan, Italy. His work is ambitious and colourful. You get the impression that he doesn’t take the easy route, always pushing himself and the craft as far as possible. The result is well worth the effort. His character animation is smooth and captivating. His colours pop and ignite. And the ideas he brings to life benefit from being shaped by his vision.
About The Composer
Ben Bavonese was encouraged by his twin brother, Noah, who works at the prestigious animation studio Giant Ant, to pursue a life in sound design. His musical grounding comes from spending years transcribing the masters of jazz by ear. He took the same approach sound design, learning by doing, emulating his favourite artists. Alongside his compositions for animation, he is in a jazz and R&B band in Chicago. That energy feeds into his compositions, which are fresh, impeccably produced, and make use of well chosen samples combined with layered melodics.
