Cara Watson is originally from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne but studied and now lives in London. Playfulness and big characters are central to her style. Working in 2D and traditional frame-by-frame animation, both digitally and hand-drawn, her style is accessible yet packs a punch.
Ben Bavonese was encouraged by his twin brother, Noah, who works at the prestigious animation studio Giant Ant, to pursue a life in sound design. His musical grounding comes from spending years transcribing the masters of jazz by ear. He took the same approach sound design, learning by doing, emulating his favourite artists. Alongside his compositions for animation, he is in a jazz and R&B band in Chicago. That energy feeds into his compositions, which are fresh, impeccably produced, and make use of well chosen samples combined with layered melodics.
