Birthday Balloons is inspired by the famous hot air balloon festival that happens each year in Bristol, where a panoply of balloons soar over city and its famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. The scene is taken from a series of ecards called Britain by Bike, which tells the fantastical story of four cyclists travelling from Land’s End to John O’Groats. It’s a feel good ecard for those who like an adventure.
Sentio Space is a London based animation studio and the sister company to 2050cards. The studio is renowned for its handcrafted approach to animation and innovative short form storytelling, which has led it to work with some of the UK’s leading institutions, including Cambridge University, Tate Modern and the BBC. Sentio means to feel in Latin. All the work produced at Sentio Space exemplifies that philosophy.
