Kylie currently studies communication design in Düsseldorf. Her work focuses on identity-creating situations and feelings made visual from a childlike perspective. She was inspired to take up illustration after observing the strength of feeling other artists’ work could ignite in her, sometimes even bringing her to tears.
She’s especially interested in the little things that happen in day-to-day life that affect our emotions. What puts a smile on someone’s face? What makes them feel sad?
After starting to focus on Illustration she became curious with what happens to a picture when you add motion. This led her into the world of animation.
A funny fact about Kylie is that she almost studied economics… thankfully for all of us she changed her mind!
