About the Card
Wild West Cake is a cake riding a horse. Or a horse carrying a cake. In reality, it doesn’t make a hoofs bit of sense. But as an ecard to send on someone’s birthday, it makes all the sense in the world, somehow. It’s bonkers. It’s fun. It’s full canter, no cake spared.
About the Artist
Octavian Fitzherbert is an Irish artist. His work is sketchy and imaginative, bizarre and brilliant. He was awarded a much coveted place at The National Drawing School and then went on to attain a BA in Fine Art from The National College of Art and Design, Ireland. After that he made the move into animation. It’s a medium that suits his approach to storytelling, which is often inspired by fairytales, is meandering, obscure and hilarious. All more than possible to achieve with animation.
